The Certificate IV in Disability is for students who want to have a positive impact in the lives of others living with disability. Improve your knowledge and skills and enhance proficiency in emotional well-being, participation and inclusion, working with carers and more.
This course has been specifically designed for students who have previously completed the Cert III in Individual Support and are currently working in the industry.
The course will provide a viable pathway to relevant Diploma and Bachelor degree courses. The Certificate IV in Disability also incorporates a work experience element so you will get to put into practice the theory & skills you learn. Increase your skills in the areas of:

| Pre-requisites / Entry Conditions | Over 17 years old, not attending secondary school. Must complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. To complete vocational placement requirements, students must also; be able to pass a NDIS check, police check and be fully vaccinated. Must already hold the Certificate III in Individual Support and be employed in the Disability sector. |

| Vocational Placement | Students need to obtain experience in a relevant workplace and satisfactorily demonstrate a series of skills. The minimum number of hours required as part of this placement is 120. Placement may be voluntary work or paid employment in a relevant role. Students must be able to pass some background checks e.g. police check and working with children |
