Delivery Method
Training and assessment is delivered in the workplace. Formal training is delivered by a Strategix trainer in one visit. After the training, students are required to practice their skills under the direct supervision of someone in the workplace who has a forklift licence. The assessment is conducted when the student has demonstrated readiness for assessment.
Where forklift training and assessment is requested, the organisation will need to provide a forklift in safe working condition, and a currently licenced operator who will be able to supervisor the learner whilst they're operating the machinery. Participants must be over 18 years of age to sit the assessment. Previous driving experience is helpful but not necessary to obtain a forklift licence.
