Subsidised Nationally Accredited Training
The Smart and Skilled program provides eligible individuals (who are living or working in NSW) with an opportunity to complete qualifications subsidised by the New South Wales Government. Smart and Skilled is grouped into two programs - Smart and Skilled Entitlement and Smart and Skilled Targeted Priorities.
Smart and Skilled Entitlement includes qualifications ranging from Certificate I through to Certificate III and Apprenticeships and new-entrant traineeship qualifications at all levels.
Smart and Skilled Targeted Priorities program includes Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels (depending on the availability of funding for these courses) and Pre-vocational and part qualifications, including skill sets.
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. The course fee is determined by the NSW provider calculator, please contact a Strategix representative to obtain a quote.
Through the Smart and Skilled Entitlement program, eligible participants can undertake nationally accredited training and may* pay as little as $240.
For most courses, concession holders pay just $240 and non-concessional students pay just $1000. The remainder of the course fees are subsidised under the Smart and Skilled program by the NSW State Government, refer to the Smart and Skilled website.
* Previous qualifications do not affect eligibility but may affect the student fee. New entrants may be entitled to fee-free training for their first two qualifications.
