The Strategix First Aid course is nationally accredited and covers essential training for you or your staff. It is a requirement under the WHS Act for all Australian Employers to have an adequate number of people trained in First Aid available at the workplace. The training is undertaken via a blended model: Theory is completed online followed by a practical session, minimizing downtime for work. Our trainers assessors are qualified paramedics with current industry experience.
There are three First Aid courses to choose from:

Requirements | - Must be able to perform uninterrupted cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the floor for 2 minutes. - Sufficient English language and literacy to understand course content and complete written and practical assessments. - Participants will also need computer and internet access to complete the theory component. Some devices may be available at the training venue. |
Delivery Method | Participants complete the theory component online and attend the practical workshop. It's recommended that the theory component is completed prior to the practical workshop, where this is not possible, participants have two weeks after the workshop to complete the theory. Students will receive a Statement of Attainment after successful completion of the theory and practical. |

Description | Previously known as Apply first aid or Senior first aid, this course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response to a casualty until emergency response units arrive at the scene of the accident. This course is the minimum requirement for workplace first aid compliance. This course includes HLTAID009. |

Description | In this course, participants will learn how to provide emergency first aid response to infants, children and adults. This course is suitable for Teachers, Child Care workers, Teacher Aides or anyone working within an education and care setting who might be required to respond to a first aid emergency. This course is the minimum requirement for first aid compliance in early childhood care settings. This course includes HLTAID011 and HLTAID009. |
