What you will study

  • Learn to operate safely and to standard in a production setting. Practise reading work orders, setting up equipment, running product to specification, and completing quality checks and records. Build confidence identifying hazards, escalating issues, participating in problem‑solving, and working with your team to reduce downtime and improve flow.

    Provide valid photo ID (driver’s licence or passport) and any prior education/qualification documents. If applying for funding or concessions, additional evidence may be required—our team will guide you step‑by‑step.

    You will need to demonstrate:
  • Language, literacy and numeracy suitable for SOPs, batch records, and quality checks
  • Employment status: participants are current employees, labour‑hire staff, or new starters engaged by the host employer
  • Site access and induction: completion of the employer’s mandatory inductions (WHS, emergency, GMP/site rules) before practical training
    Equipment and resources: employer provides access to compliant plant, tools, SOPs, permits, and documents needed for on‑the‑job assessment
    Supervisor engagement: a workplace supervisor is available to coordinate scheduling, confirm workplace evidence, and participate in third‑party reports
    Compliance checks (if applicable): any site‑specific medicals, vaccinations, licences, or background checks required by the employer or client sites
