Federal Employer Incentives

Federal government employer incentives currently available to eligible employers of Australian apprentices.

Federal Employer incentives are provided to:

  • Encourage and promote opportunities for skills-based training and the development of employees by providing incentives to employers
  • Encourage people to enter into skills-based training through an Australian Apprenticeship

You are eligible for Federal Government Employer incentives if:

  • You employ a new worker who undertakes a funded nationally recognised training program
  • The new worker enters into a training contract for a qualification within 3 months of commencement of full time employment or 12 months of entering into part time employment
