Nationally Accredited Training with Government incentives for employers

About the training

The User Choice program provides eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees with access to a public funding contribution towards the cost of their training and assessment.

Subsidised training at $1.60 Per nominal hour

Through User Choice funding, eligible participants can undertake nationally accredited at a rate of $1.60* per nominal hour.

*Free apprenticeships for under 21s – The Free apprenticeships for under 21s initiative will cover the cost of training for Queensland apprentices or trainees who commenced or are undertaking a Priority Apprenticeship and Traineeship Qualification from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2023.

The User Choice program provides a funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. Delivered in conjunction with the Commonwealth Government’s Australian Apprenticeship program (Federal Employer Incentives), for new entrants.

Employer incentives may also be available for employers, this information for employers has been made available by the QLD Government.
