    Enrolment Info

    Necessary Documents:

You’ll need to provide valid photo ID (such as a driver’s licence or passport), your Medicare card, and any relevant education or qualification documents. If you’re applying for government funding, additional documentation may be required. Our team will guide you through what’s needed.

    You will need to demonstrate:
    • The ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and meet any industry compliance requirements
    • Language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills suitable for effective communication and basic record-keeping
    • Up-to-date vaccinations or clearances as may be required by some community organisations
    • A genuine passion for helping others and supporting inclusion and wellbeing in your community

    Vocational placement:
    • As part of this course you’ll need to complete a supervised work placement with a community organisation, giving you the chance to apply what you’ve learned in real settings. You’ll support day-to-day activities, assist clients, and develop practical skills that will help you start your career in community services while building confidence, networks, and experience. Placement is normally unpaid but can be completed as part of normal paid employment if the role and tasks are relevant.
