    What you will study

    Provide person‑centred support that upholds dignity and choice, assist with daily living and personal care, promote independence and community participation, communicate and document professionally, apply safe work practices (manual handling, infection prevention, risk/incident response), use assistive technologies and digital tools, and recognise and report changes or risks in line with safeguarding.

    Necessary Documents:

    You’ll need to provide valid photo ID (such as a driver’s licence or passport), your Medicare card, and any relevant education or qualification documents. If you’re applying for government funding, additional documentation may be required. Our team will guide you through what’s needed.

    You will need to demonstrate:
    • National Police Check and Working with Children Check; NDIS Worker Screening for disability placements
    • Language, literacy and numeracy suitable for classroom communication and record-keeping
    • Immunisations as required by vocational placement host organisations
    • A genuine commitment to supporting individuals wellbeing.

    Work placement:
    • Mandatory vocational placement: 120 hours in ageing and/or disability settings, completing tasks such as personal care, manual handling, documentation, person‑centred activities, and participation in shift routines under supervision.
