Diploma of Community Services

Necessary Documents:

You’ll need to provide two forms of identification (such as a driver’s licence or passport), and any relevant education or qualification documents. If you’re applying for government funding, additional documentation may be required. Our team will guide you through what’s needed.

You will need to demonstrate:

• Language, literacy and numeracy suitable for classroom communication and record-keeping

Vocational Placement:

‍As part of the Diploma of Community Services, you will complete a minimum of 100 hours of supervised vocational placement. This placement allows you to apply your casework, assessment, advocacy, referral, and community development skills in real-world environments such as community centres, outreach services, family support programs, NDIS or disability services, and other community organisations.

During placement, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners, engage with clients, contribute to service delivery, and develop your confidence in supporting diverse individuals and communities. Placement requirements may vary depending on the host organisation and state or territory guidelines.

Vocational placement can be paid or voluntary.
